Great volunteer opportunity available right now!

Draper student Rick Halmo acts as Vice President at Daytime Moon Creations, Inc., a non-profit organization helping special needs children perform in theatrical productions. This year, Daytime Moon is working with Downtown Little League to help coach "Challenger League Baseball." Rick cannot speak highly enough of his experiences with Challenger League.

Challenger League is looking for outgoing and fun volunteers to work with them and their athletes from 10am-12pm each Saturday morning. The season has already begun, but volunteers are still needed for some or all of the remaining weekend games, through the season's end in June.

Games take place at the baseball fields off of West Street and Murray Street in the financial district - about a 5 minute walk from the World Trade Center. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Rick and his team will work with all of volunteers to enable them to help the players in a comfortable and, most importantly, fun environment. This is a great volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in making a profound difference in the lives of special needs children and their families.

If you are interested or have any questions please contact Rick Halmo at rick.halmo@gmail.com.
