Congrats to Chuck Wachtel!

Chuck's recently published work 3/03 has been awarded the Media Ecology Association's 2011 Mary Shelley Award for Outstanding Fictional Work. The award celebrates "novels, short stories, hypertexts, plays, scripts, comics, audio recordings, motion pictures, videos, and other narrative forms, published or released in 2008 or later, that include media ecology themes, concepts, or insights."


Chuck is a Clinical Professor in the Creative Writing Program at NYU and teaches Draper's "Human Fact" class each fall.

Draper Student Louis Gulino Published in Georgetown's gnovis Journal

Good news from a Draper student!
Louis Gullino published his essay "Tracing Apollo’s Descent: Nietzsche’s Aesthetic Ontology and the Myth of Safe Spectatorship In Post-9/11 America" was published in gnovis, Georgetown's peer-reviewed journal of communication, culture, and technology this spring.
Congrats, Louis!
